Hi there, my name is Tammy Fong, welcome to my portfolio and travel blog! A little background on me: I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a B.S. in Business Admin. Management & Human Resources. During my senior year, I was elected Business Senator and served for 1 year on the university senate board as well as my respective college senate board.
I previously worked for WeWork/The We Company and now currently work for JP. Morgan Chase. I am also a partner and the CFO of MILK+T and manage catering for all locations. During the quarantine in 2020, I also founded Scented Pot, a family owned and operated candle company. On the side of al this, I am a freelance photographer based in Los Angeles and a fellow traveler!
Traveling for me is an escape from reality where I can learn about the world outside of my comfort zone and about the different cultures there are. Some of my favorite destinations thus far includes Taiwan, Singapore, Switzerland and London. I love traveling because I always come home with a new perspective of the world, a little more mature and less naive.
Some of my other interests and hobbies include hiking, photography, reading, designing and binging shows. I love dogs (I have 2 of them!) and want to own at least 5 dogs simultaneously one day. My favorite type of photography is landscape, especially of mountains and I enjoy editing photos and messing around with Photoshop to see what I can create. I’ve been shooting with a Canon for majority of my photography career and am adding Fujifilm into my little family!
I am a big advocate for stepping out of comfort zones and learning more about yourself and with this blog, I hope to inspire others to get out of their comfort zones and see the world.
